about

*Inspiration #6: “Walking Backwards up a Hill”

*Technical Focus:
+ Harmonic Minor Scale
+ Sweep Picking & Precision
+ Root Note Inversions

*Title:
Walking backwards is one of the most wild sensations you will ever experience!
I usually only do this at night when there is no traffic & I can focus on my sense perceptions.
The idea to walk backwards up a hill is one of the best gifts I can give you; seriously, try it tonight!

+Plus the symbology is hilarious.

The first half of this piece is taxing, yet gorgeous; the modulation at [0:40] signifies the halfway point of this entire collection.

I made it Inspiration #6 because of the I-vi relationships in the second half;
also, it begins on an A minor arpeggio, which is THE minor chord (because of its vi-I relationship to C Major).
