about

*Inspiration #1: “Sorry I’m late, I was Flexing…”

*Technical Focus:
+ Sweep Picking
+ Pull-Offs
+ Open-String Utilization

*Title:
People seem to think that Canadians over-use the word "sorry"
so I'll honour this stereotype in an effort to gesture at our national identity.
and what an image it creates!
showing up late in favour of flexing…

I imagine a room full of people waiting for someone important to arrive - meanwhile he's out in the lobby, flexing.
as in, "I could have been here on time but I've chosen instead to keep all of you waiting while I pose & display"

This is Inspiration #1 because it ascends right away, it's beautiful, and you can start as slowly as you want.
...an obvious choice to kick off the collection!
